The Turbo Engineers TTE390 turbocharger is based on a highly modified OEM Borg Warner K04-064 turbo taken from the 2.0 tfsi platform (known as TTE420 on 2.0TFSI). Direct bolt on VAG 1.8T 20V engine, the TTE390 is 400hp capable. You can order a remplacement turbocharger or send your own original K04-064 turbo (in good condition) for upgrade.

The Turbo Engineers offer the original buyer a TTE TROUBLE-FREE WARRANTY for 1 year. If a TTE turbocharger fail or have any problem for any reason, final consumer can ship it back to the manufacturer (shipping charged not covered). Subsequently, TTE will overhaul the sent turbocharger and depending on the problem and availability, customer will get a replacement or the overhauled unit shipped back.
