This Alpha Competition stainless steel made decat downpipe fits without modifications on the 2.0 TFSI EA888.3 engines of the Golf 7 GTI / Leon 3 Cupra or Octavia 5E VRS in order to remove the OEM catalyst. Built with a 3.5" / 89mm turbo outlet, this downpipe improves flow transfers at the turbine outlet before being reduced to 3" / 76mm to maintain an optimal level of back pressure. Offering a massive power gain and an aggressive sound, this downpipe clearly constitutes the best quality / price / performance ratio on the market with a full flow design, high quality T304 stainless steel, handmade TIG welding and two adapters to connect both OEM or aftermarket 3" / 76mm catback.

Alpha Competition products are inspected and certified as compliant before shipping. This certification is complementary to the manufacturer's warranty covering manufacturing or material defects for one year on most products in the range. Intercoolers and exhausts have a non-transferable lifetime warranty, but do not cover aesthetic defects that may appear over time. The replacement or repair of the products will depend on the decision of the manufacturer, who will be entitled to request proof or return for expertise of the items concerned. Return costs and third-party costs are not covered by the Alpha Competition warranty.

Montage effectué en octobre suite à une prépa Stage 2.
Après 3 mois, le bilan est très positif. Pas de vibration parasite à déplorer.
Le son est nettement plus présent et beaucoup moins monotone qu'à l'origine. La qualité de fabrication est irréprochable et c’est rassurant de savoir que c'est garanti à vie, on voit que la marque a confiance en son matériel. Une modification qui en vaut vraiment la peine. Après 3 mois d'utilisation quotidienne, je recommande sans hésiter !
