The Pressure Control Valve also called PCV, found in the 2.0 TFSI EA88.3 engines of the Golf 7 GTI / Golf 7 R / TT Mk3 / Leon 3 Cupra / S3 8V returns the gases built up in the crankcase to the engine via the intake manifold. A faulty PCV will cause specific symptoms such as over oil consumption, loss of power, unstable idling and misfiring.
