This stainless steel made Alpha Competition, downpipe, in 3.5" / 89mm diameter, fits without modification between the turbo and the front pipe of the M139 engines fitted to the Mercedes A45 / A45S / CLA45 AMG W177 / C118 in order to remove the main catalyst. Manufactured from high quality T304 stainless steel with handmade TIG welds, this downpipe will bring an average gain of 28hp on a stage 1 engine and a particularly aggressive sound. With a high flow structure and thermal insulation to reduce heat radiation by 50%, this downpipe clearly represents the best value for money on the market!

This certification is complementary to the manufacturer's warranty covering manufacturing or material defects for one year on most products in the range. Intercoolers and exhausts have a non-transferable lifetime warranty, but do not cover aesthetic defects that may appear over time. The replacement or repair of the products will depend on the decision of the manufacturer, who will be entitled to request proof or return for expertise of the items concerned. Return costs and third-party costs are not covered by the Alpha Competition warranty.

J’avais déjà entendu parler de cette marque en bien, mais jamais je n’aurais pensé qu’en 2025 il puisse encore exister des fabricants de pièces performance offrant un tel rapport qualité/prix. Ce fut une belle surprise de constater que la downpipe s’installe avec autant de facilité malgré le peu d’espace disponible.
Quant à la sonorité, c’est un tout autre monde comparé à l’origine on retrouve enfin le caractère et le son d’un vrai moteur dans une voiture moderne. C'est aprouvée à 1000%!!
