The HKS Direct Sludge Remover comes as a 400ml bottle to drop into the engine via the oil filler cap before proceeding with the oil change. While engine idling for 15 minutes, the HKS DSR solution mixed with the used engine oil will clean the sensitive parts of the engine, removing sludge and other impurities. Once the action of the HKS Direct Sludge Remover is complete, all that remains is to drain the used oil following the regular oil change procedure
