This Alpha Competition stainless steel decat downpipe fits without modification on the 2.0 TFSI engines found in the Golf 5 GTI, Golf 6 GTI, Leon 2 Cupra and Scirocco R, replacing the restrictive factory catalytic converter. Manufactured from high-quality T304 stainless steel with a 3" / 76mm diameter, this downpipe improves exhaust gas flow at the turbo outlet, delivering significant power gains and a more aggressive exhaust note. With its full-flow design and hand-finished TIG welds, it offers one of the best combinations of quality, price and performance on the market. Available with or without a thermal shield capable of reducing radiant heat by up to 50%, this downpipe is supplied with two adapters, to connect either the factory exhaust system or a 3" / 76mm performance exhaust.

This certification is complementary to the manufacturer's warranty covering manufacturing or material defects for one year on most products in the range. Intercoolers and exhausts have a non-transferable lifetime warranty, but do not cover aesthetic defects that may appear over time. The replacement or repair of the products will depend on the decision of the manufacturer, who will be entitled to request proof or return for expertise of the items concerned. Return costs and third-party costs are not covered by the Alpha Competition warranty.
