AEM Performance Electronics products are warranted for a 1-year, unlimited mileage period from the date of original purchase. AEM’s warranties are not transferable when ownership of the vehicle into which the AEM products were originally installed is sold. To obtain service under this warranty, products must be brought / shipped, upon discovery of a malfunction or defect in materials and/or workmanship, to any Authorized AEM Dealer. In the event of a warranty claim, AEM will repair or replace, at its sole discretion, any defective AEM component. This warranty does not include reimbursement for repairs to any original vehicle manufacturer’s component(s) that may have been affected by an AEM component, labor charges associated with the repair or shipping to dealer charges.

For purposes of illustration, but not limitation, the following are not defects in material or workmanship: (a) normal wear and tear and/or required maintenance; (b) improper handling, storage, installation, lubrication or maintenance; (c) damage resulting from or related to misuse (including use in a way other than those applications recommended by AEM), abuse, unauthorized modification or alteration, incorrect polarity (+&- wires crossed), accident, acts of God, or external causes; and (d) cosmetic damage (nicks, bruising, discoloration).
