The MMX front differential mounting system for the BMW M2, M3 F80 / G80 and M4 F8x / G8x is designed to reduce differential movement under heavy load and, when required, correct drivetrain geometry on lowered vehicles. In the OEM position, the system stiffens the connection between the differential and the chassis to reduce drivetrain movement, while in the raised position it lifts the differential by 10mm to improve driveshaft alignment, helping to reduce stress and wear on the axle shafts of vehicles with a lowered ride height.
