For some reasons, VAG group decided to install on some 1.8 and 2.0T engines, plastics oil sumps with clipped drain plugs. Fragile, not really functional and aging badly, it can easily be replaced by this strong steel pan much more reliable and effective, coming with specific bolts and a gasket sealer tube !
