This additional oil canister, manufactured by Alpha Performance, is installed without any modification in the wheel arch of the Nissan GTR R35 to increase the oil capacity available to the transmission. The transmission will then be optimally lubricated even during heavy acceleration or cornering, which can displace the oil stored in the sump and in some cases create a fatal air gap.
